Paddle Adventure: Experience the Untouched Algarve from the Water
The coast around Sagres is among the most pristine areas of the Algarve, offering ideal conditions for a SUP tour. Embark on an adventure, paddling through mysterious grottos, jumping from cliffs into the water, and discovering the impressive coastal landscape from a sea perspective. The grottos and caves are particularly enchanting, glowing in shimmering green and blue hues in the sunlight. Our tour guide, who grew up in the Algarve, knows the coast like no other.

The SUP tours start at Praia do Barranco, a beautiful secluded beach between Lagos and Sagres on the Algarve’s south coast. From there, you paddle towards Ingrina, with stops in the grottos along the coast. The meeting point for the SUP tour is in Raposeira, where you will head to the beach together, then dive straight into the crystal-clear water.
Depending on the group size, one or two SUP guides will be with you, providing all the necessary information about stand-up paddling and the surroundings, and answering your questions.
Barranco Beach
Information
The Stand-Up Paddle tour usually begins at Barranco Beach, but we always check where the best conditions are for you. We will either pick you up from your accommodation (within a 25 km radius of Raposeira) or meet directly at the parking lot in Raposeira. From there, we drive to the beach together. You will first receive your equipment. Before heading out onto the water, your guide will explain the technique and all safety aspects. Then the adventure can begin.
